Welcome to the Home Page of the Society of Neurological Surgeons (the 'Senior Society'). The Society, comprised of Neurosurgical Department Chairs, Residency Program Directors and other senior educational leaders, is the oldest neurosurgical professional organization in the world. The Society holds as its principal mission the design of curriculum and implementation of neurosurgical residency and fellowship education in North America.
Information is available here regarding the history, leadership and membership of the Society, plus Society sponsored educational activities available for residents.
Member only restricted pages host an educational tool kit and information exchange forum for Residency Program Directors, as well as archives of educational presentations from SNS Annual Meetings and other educational events.
